AMF on the 307

My good friend and fellow Algonquin College graduate Aaron Mackenzie Fraser http://www.amfraser.com/was in town a couple of weeks ago.  Aaron dosent live in Ottawa anymore, but back home in Halifax.  He and I spent a lot of time shooting each other during school years and beyond that, so whenever he's in town we always try to take photos, for old times sake you could say.

This photo was taken at an old abandoned sandpit shed on the 307 that Aaron's been bugging me to go to for years.  I'm pretty sure next time we shoot it'll be in Halifax, I'm long overdue to visit him.  And the sea food is amazing I'm told.

NEW BLOG/WEBSITE

Hello all,

If you're reading this, it can only mean that you've come across my blog.  So first why ?  Why a blog ?  Well,  a lot of friends and family have been telling me for the longest time that it was a shame that I wasn't showing more of my photography.  This blog aims to remedy that.

I shoot a lot.  Have been for over ten years now.  To use an old cliché, it's one of my passion (close friends know what the other one is)  So on here, I'll share the many aspects of my photography, along with anecdotes, things that inspire me, and the occasional random state of mind.  The title of this first post also mentions a website, the site is in the final stage of being "coded"  and should be up in a week or two.  Below is a preview of the opening page. I'll let everyone know when it goes live.

A last note before I go, I'm french canadian, Québec, from Hull.  So although my english is not bad, you'll have to excuse the weird syntax from time to time.  Having said that, I'll steal one of my friend Rémi Thériault ideas from his blog (http://remitheriault.blogspot.com/) Rémi is acadian and he sometimes write in his native PEI tongue.  I'll write in Hull french at some point.

That's all for now, and happy St-Jean Batiste to all my fellow quebeckers.
